OLDER GIRL PROGRAMS
For all girls who are interested in participating in the older girl programs, they will need to fill out this form and return it to [email protected] or you may fill out the google form.
Program Aid Training - Girls who have completed or will complete 6th grade this year, have the opportunity to take Program Aid Training. In order for girls to earn their Program Aid, they must complete the following requirements.
Training Dates:
- Fill out Program Aid Application. Applications are due by April 21, 2024.
- Earned at least one LIA (Leader in Action) prior to training.
- Attend the mandatory 3-hour training.
- Attend at least 2 other 1 ½ specialty trainings, but suggest attending all trainings.
- Work directly with younger girls over 6 activity sessions.
Training Dates:
- Mandatory Training – May 3rd - 4th at Camp Whispering Winds
- Specialty Trainings – From 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Girls must attend 2.
- June 25th
- July 8th
- July 22nd
- All will be held at the Albany Program Center
Older Girl Opportunities - We will offer these other opportunities to older girls during Day Camp:

- Cadette Service to Girl Scouts Bar - Must be going into 8th grade or 2nd year Program Aid
- Counselor in Training I - Girls entering 9th grade and above
- Senior Service to Girl Scouts Bar - Girls entering 9th grade and above
- Counselor in Training II - Girls entering 11th & 12th grade
- Ambassador Service to Girl Scouts Bar - Girls entering 11th & 12th grade
Day Camp Training - In order for girls to be comfortable in their leadership positions, there will be multiple meetings to go over expectations and planning to make their experience a positive one. This training is for all girls who will be PAs and higher during camp.
PA's are strongly encouraged to attend all of the adult day camp meetings held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Albany Program Center beginning at 5:30 p.m., as their leadership roles will be more advanced and they will need to be involved with the planning and execution of their responsibilities.

Behavior Agreement - All girls 7th grade and above are required to fill out a behavior agreement prior to attending Day Camp. Please fill out the form which is attached here and email it to Colette Smith at [email protected].
